What Is It?

The Journey is not a museum. It is not a theatre production. The Journey is an encounter with the living God. We invite you into the story of this immersive journey as the fullness of God’s love is revealed. You’ll travel with Jesus, the Apostles , Mary, the Roman Centurion and others as you journey from station to station experiencing the events that occurred during the hours of Jesus from the Last Supper to the Garden Tomb. One step inside the The Upper Room you’ll be translated into the the life of Jesus as you take your place at the Table and engage in the most significant of all Passovers. James and John will travel with you as you walk through the Kidron Valley to The Garden of Gethsemane. You’ll join Peter in the Courtyard of Caiphas, the High Priest. You’ll walk to the House of Pilate. From her balcony his wife rehearses her dream about Jesus as she watches in wonder and in horror the events concerning Jesus unfold right before her eyes. Simon of Cyrene will tell of his struggle as he helps Jesus carry his Cross. You’ll listen in on the conversation with the The Roman Centurion and the 2 thieves. Mary will invite you into her treasured memories of Jesus, beginning at the moment the angel Gabriel announced she would be the mother of Jesus. At the tomb you’ll hear the hearts and thoughts between Joseph of Aramethia and Nicodemus as they prepare Jesus for burial.

Our Prayer

This year at Capo Beach Church we don’t want to simply share the story with you, we want to invite you into the story through this immersive Journey experience. Our prayer is that by taking part in this journey, you would experience the fullness of God's love and power for you and in your life!

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."
John 11:25-26
