Healthy individuals and strong families are a priority here at Capo Beach Church and that’s why our CARE Department provides pastoral counseling, substance abuse counseling, and individual counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Perhaps you’re ready to address an addiction. Maybe you’d like to work through the challenges you’re facing in your marriage. Or you might have decided to finally talk with someone about the depression or anxiety you’re facing. We’re here to support, encourage, and equip you with tools for a healthy life and family.

Pastoral Counseling For Couples
Pastor Dan Russell focuses on pastoral counseling, teaching pre-marital and married couple’s classes, and performing marriage ceremonies. His vision and goal is to equip and encourage couples in their faith, prayer life, and relationship with our Lord and each other. His approach to marriage education and counseling teaches couples the skills they need to communicate clearly and resolve conflict. Pastor Dan is a Certified Marriage Specialist/Director with the National Association of Marriage Enhancement (NAME), Certified Marriage Mentor with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and a Marriage Educator with the California Healthy Marriage Coalition (CHMC).
One-on-one Counseling
Pastor Dan Russell also extends his expertise to offer personalized one-on-one counseling sessions for both men and women. With a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities faced by individuals, he provides a compassionate and supportive environment where men and women can openly discuss their personal struggles, concerns, and aspirations.
