How did you come to join the team at Capo Beach Church?

My wife Karen and I landed at CBC in 1990 and we could feel the Lord’s presence and knew we found our church home and wanted to get involved serving the Lord. Fast forward on a missions trip in Mexico, I felt the Lord calling me into ministry so I started taking bible classes and counseling courses along with serving in many different ministries. During that time, my calling was further defined by being ordained as a full time pastor here at Capo Beach Church. I believe the Lord gave me His passion and desire to build and strengthen Christ centered marriages.

Describe your role at CBC in one sentence:

As a Pastor at CBC , I spend most of my time counseling and teaching pre-marital and married couples classes, as well as officiating Christ centered weddings.

What is your favorite thing about being a part of the team here at CBC?

I love serving the Lord and His people along side our CBC team ( Family ) My vision and goal is to equip and encourage people in their faith , prayer life and relationship with the Lord and each other.

Favorite activities when you’re not at work:

I like walks on the beach my wife Karen, mountain biking, boating, wake boarding , scuba diving and working out.

Surfing or Hiking?

I enjoy hiking with my wife & Golden Retriever.

Mac or PC?

I am a PC guy.

Cat or Dog?

I love dogs especially Golden Retrievers, of course dogs are still man’s best friend!

If you woke up tomorrow morning as a Disney character who would you be? Why?

My Disney character is Peter Pan! Why? not because he chased his shadow. Because he was a leader for the lost, and he could fly!!!
