Meet the Teacher

Chester Delagneau has taught a wide range of grade levels from postgraduate classes in theology at Fuller Theological Seminary to Christian worldview, Bible, and informal logic at Heart Christian Academy. He’s an author, writer, blogger, teacher, speaker, and proud husband and father. Most recently, Mr. Delagneau is writing for a company called Eloquilt and their creative platforms: Hope Cartel, Elmwood Falls, and The Backdrop. When he’s not researching and writing, he can be found kickin’ the soccer ball around with his son, and relishing sunsets with his wife.

Understand Prominent World-views

This class is for every Christian who wants to better understand the world they live in and the prominent worldviews that have shaped the western world, such as theism, deism, naturalism, Marxism, nihilism, existentialism, eastern (pantheistic) monism, New Age philosophy, postmodernism, and Islam, in order to be well-read, compassionate, truth-telling evangelists for Christ.

Appreciation for other World-views

After this class, students will have a deeper appreciation for what other world-views teach in regards to prime reality, external reality, the nature of human beings, death, knowledge, morality, history, and core commitments, as well as to why people behave the way they do (based on what they believe—their worldview).

How to Answers Life’s Most Important Questions

This will afford them the confidence to speak into other people’s lives with a robust knowledge of how and why the Judeo-Christian worldview offers the best answers to life’s most important questions: Where did we come from? Who am I? Why am I here? (What’s my purpose?) Is there life after death? Is there a God? How can we know Him? What is good/evil? Is there such a thing as absolute (moral) truths?
