Spring K-9 Bootcamp

Maybe you have adopted a new Covid pup, or, it’s just time for a refresher course with your current dog, Trinity K-9’s Spring Bootcamp class has something for just about everyone!
We are excited to once again host our friends at Trinity K-9. Over the years we have had the pleasure of hosting the Trinity team and they are always a joy to work with! All classes will be held in the secure back lot at Capo Beach Church.
Group training includes three sessions over one week. We use positive feedback and rewards to reinforce the natural way our dog learns. The focus of the training is 1) understanding your dog, in order to 2) improve your control over your dog, which will 3) increase your bond with your dog.
We have a daily assignment sheet (It is Bootcamp for goodness sake… we have to have accountability!) and together we will make little steps forward every day. At then end of the two weeks, dog/handler teams will have a rhythm of learning.
There is a cap on the number of participants and registration is on a first come basis.

* Sit, Wait and Come
* Basic grooming
* And, we will address questions/requests from the group on behavior issues. For those interested in doing service with their dog, we will provide options at the end of class.
During our final class on May 8, all dogs/handlers will be able to participate in an official American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test. Those who successfully complete all ten elements of the test will be awarded official AKC Canine Good Citizen status.
