Passion of the Christ Showing

Hi saint,

Originally Straight Up was not going to meet for “First Friday.” However, students have approached the leaders and myself to gather on April 2.

As a community we have been learning about Jesus’ last week on earth preparing for a great celebration on Easter Sunday. Students have made it clear that they cannot picture what Jesus went through, which also means they cannot fully grasp the event of the cross and resurrection.

April 2 is “Good Friday” and we will be showing The Passion of the Christ.

If your son or daughter comes on April 2 from 6:00-9:00pm, you are allowing your child to witness The Passion of the Christ.
