God promises us each a gift and asks us to be good stewards of that gift (I Peter 4:10). Through serving, we grow in our relationship with Jesus and connect with others in our church family. Contact the front office to get started and discover how your gifts fit into the body of our church.

Just as God goes before us, Marines go before us to protect our freedom. We put on concerts at Camp Pendleton, supply soldiers with Bibles, and share the message of the Holy Spirit changes the lives of our Marine Corp.
We’re a team that has fun serving Jesus as we serve coffee, pastries, and meals. Whether a cashier, barista, runner, coffee maker, baker, grocery shopper, food prepper, bar ware keeper or menu designer, we create a warm and welcoming environment for our CBC family and guests during regular services and occasional special events.
Our purpose is to encourage the men and women of our church to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, to become better equipped in their understanding of God’s Word, and to share their faith with others. To this end, we offer adult Bible-based classes and individual Discipleship Partnering, as described below.
We are privileged and honored to connect God’s people with Christ by serving our CBC family the body and blood of Christ. We remember John 6:51 as we serve others, interact with leadership, and prepare and facilitate communion.
We want to provide a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for those who want to draw closer to the Lord. We have many small trade-specific jobs and painting projects, and we always need help keeping the grounds around our building clean.
We serve to create a warm, friendly, and inviting front office environment for members, visitors, and future members of our church community. Our opportunities involve representing CBC by answering phone calls before or after services, assisting those with questions, and informing people with up-to-date information. We also have available time slots throughout the week.
We believe Colossians 3:12-14 calls us to assist and empower seniors, single moms, and widows. We provide transportation, errands, light chores/repairs, and visitation to help these individuals not only maintain their independence and safety but also their connection with the community and church body.
We provide delicious food and an incredible environment that allows people the opportunity to get to know each other while sharing a meal. Be a part of our team by helping us set up, prepare food, cook, and clean up.
We joyfully provide meals to those who are recovering from medical issues or personal crisis, and to those who have newborn infants. The opportunities we have are for anyone willing to prepare and deliver meals on short notice.
Sometimes, in motherhood, we forget who we are. At CBC, we provide a safe environment to build relationships and a sense of belonging for moms of littles. The opportunities we have include becoming a part of the hospitality team, events team, crafts team, and planning team.
Has God put a vision on your heart for a ministry idea? Talk to the New Ministries Team to see how we can help you start a ministry at CBC. Whether it is developing a ministry plan or helping you fine-tune your God-given vision, we want to give you the tools and support to further God’s Kingdom here on earth.
We serve diligently behind the scenes to support key components of the church through lighting, sound, video, and creative elements. No training is necessary to join our team. You can serve as a camera/computer operator, sound technician, stage designer, and film-maker/storyteller.
Provide comfort for those suffering from serious illness or trauma and encourage people to pray for one another. Each step of sewing a new quilt for someone who is suffering involves prayer over the recipient’s illness, recovery, and comfort. You don’t have to know how to sew to join our team as there are many ways to get involved. You can sew lap quilts, add ties to quilts, tie knots, and pray.
We provide a safe place where students move beyond the faith of those around them and develop their own unshakable bond of trust in Christ. We meet throughout the week and travel often; and you can get connected by becoming a mentor, driver (trucks and boats), cook, mechanic, or a fundraiser coordinator.
Through our Christ-centered Twelve Step recovery ministry, we provide a worship experience and structured small group setting to defeat addiction, compulsion, and dysfunctional behavior through the healing power of Jesus. The opportunities we have are restricted to those in recovery. These include setting up food, coffee, and chairs before the Bridge, being a welcomer, and getting involved in the Bridge worship team.
We create a lasting first impression for people who visit our church family. We want everyone to encounter the love of Christ through our smiles. Join our team as a welcomer, usher, traffic coordinator, or someone who helps at the information booth.
We lead our church to the throne room through music. It is for his glory, not ours. With individual and diverse musical styles, skills levels, and backgrounds, we create a culture of honor within our team.
